AI Explorers Challenge 01: Sort-It Bot (Grades 3-5)

Sort-It Bot: Examples teach the robot.

Your students build a robot that sorts laundry, toys or recycling. Then they find out it only knows what they taught it.

Teams pick a sorting problem and the person who has it, draw 8 training cards and write the Bot's Rule Card. One teammate becomes the Bot and can follow only that card. Another team throws tricky items at it, and your students race to fix the examples that tripped it up. Along the way, they name the big idea: AI learns from examples, and people choose those examples.
