AI Explorers Challenge 02: Fact Detectives (Grades 3-5)
AI Explorers Challenge 02: Fact Detectives (Grades 3-5)
Fact Detectives: Sounding sure isn't the same as being right.
Your students get to play the chatbot, hide a mistake inside a very confident answer, and dare another team to find it.
Teams write a 4-sentence chatbot answer from a source card: two sentences match, one twists a detail and one invents something the source never said. Then they design a Fact-Check Tool, like a bookmark, checklist or traffic-light card, for someone who might trust a chatbot too much. Rival teams test it by labeling every sentence Supported, Contradicted or Not Enough Info.
Tip: The Teacher Guide recommends starting with Sort-It Bot. After that, teach the challenges in any order.
